Chris Rock
Chris Rock is selling his two-bed, two-bath Clinton Hill apartment for US$3.85million. But what makes this 3,700-square-foot apartment stand out is the preservation of its original design.
FOR SALE: Madagascar’s very own Marty is selling his lavish apartment in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Instead of conquering the city of New York to escape the zoo, Chris Rock is living it up in Alpine, New Jersey. Previously renting his stunning apartment out for the past few years, it seems it’s time to part ways for the unused living space. The two-bedroom – which can be changed into three-bedroom – two-bathroom flat is extremely spacious with an additional two-door garage and patio. The 90’s-turned-modern living room stuck to its roots by keeping the wooden beams running across the ceiling. This ‘rock’ing apartment is on the market for a mere US$3.85 million.
Luol Deng
Luol Deng, forward for LA Lakers, took a huge block when selling his house, having to settle for half the original price. Take a look at the beautiful mansion the NBA star had to let go of.
SOLD: NBA star Luol Deng sold his 7,600 square foot home for half the original listing price (US$3.5million). It seems like he couldn’t defend the attack on his devalued house. The seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion in Northbrook, Illinois is a place most of us can only dream of. Consisting of beautiful walk-in wardrobes, a home theatre and a garden big enough to build a football pitch on! Was your new year resolution to join the gym? Don’t sweat it! This stunning home also has its own gym sporting Luol’s number nine on the door.
Justin Morneau
Justin Morneau’s mansion is what paradise is all about. The 8,373-square-foot mega-home is on sale for US$2.85million with everything from a home theatre to a heated pool.
SELLING: Justin Morneau may be known on the baseball field, but he hit a home run with his mansion in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom house is fully kitted out with: den, living and dining room, chef’s kitchen, game room (with a bar and wine cellar) and home theatre. If that wasn’t enough, Justin had a few renovations done himself; this includes a covered patio, built-in-barbeque, heated pool and fountain spa and a children’s play area. This 8,373-square-foot mansion is currently on the market for a jaw-dropping US$2.85million! With all these extras, I’d say this place is a definite steal.
Russell Peters
Worldwide known comedian, Russell Peters, bagged an extravagant eight-bed, eight-bath mansion in California. The little details are what counts in this house – the kitchen has a pizza oven, need I say more?
BOUGHT: Actually…he has eight. Probably still hiding from his dad, international comedian Russell Peters secured an eight-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion in – wait for it – HIDDEN Hills, California. The 11,638-square-foot mansion is plenty of space to hold a usual Indian family gathering. This luxurious mansion (with an entranceway similar to any typical Indian drama household on Star Plus) is decked out with extras we wish we had the space for. It has the usual living room, dining room but the kitchen has a mix of black and white stone countertops and a built-in pizza oven! A mansion is obviously incomplete without a home theatre; I mean who has time to go to the cinema these days? There is also a small gym equipped with a dry sauna as well as an outdoor pool fitted with LED lights with a waterfall to give it a romantic ambiance in the evening. Passing on the typical equestrian vibe, Russell settled on a putting green and a gazebo equipped with a television.
